Aliën (pronounced A-lene)
I know my name is spelled a little differently, so I like to share the pronunciation. You’re welcome to say it however feels comfortable, and I’m always happy to guide you.
Hi, I’m Aliën.
Thank you for being here.
It is an honor to welcome you into this work. My practice is offered as a sanctuary of care, listening, and remembrance, a place where the body is not treated as something to be fixed, but as a deeply intelligent system worthy of reverence.
My approach is quiet, attentive, and relational. Through presence, attunement, and intentional touch, I support the places where the body organizes, restores, and recalibrates itself. Each session is a process of listening together, allowing your system to guide the pace and direction of the work.
The roots of this practice reach back to my childhood. My maternal grandmother was the first to place the language of touch into my hands. She carried a deep curiosity for the unseen currents of healing and kept flower essences, oracle cards, and herbal books close by. When I was small, she would massage my feet with patient care, inspired by her care, I would massage hers in return. She often told me I had good touch, and gently began teaching me reflexology points, showing me how the body speaks and how the hands can learn to listen.
Those early exchanges planted something lasting in me. My grandmother also initiated me into the quiet world of folk herbalism. She was the first person I gathered plant medicine with.
In the spring, we would harvest elderflowers together, their pale clusters fragrant in the cool air, later turning them into cordial that carried the sweetness of the season. By autumn we returned again, our hands darkened with elderberries, gathering the fruit that would become the deep purple jam she simmered slowly on the stove.
She is my revered elder now, and I can still close my eyes and taste that jam, rich and earthy, holding the memory of the land and the patience of the seasons.
Through those small rituals I learned that healing lives not only in the hands, but in relationship with the plants, the earth, and the wisdom passed quietly between generations. That reverence continues to move through the way I approach this work today.
A central devotion of my practice is women’s reproductive health and the inner landscapes of the female body. The breasts, womb, and belly are not separate from the heart; they are places where emotion, memory, and life force gather. For nearly seven years I have been immersed in clinical study and hands-on practice supporting women through lymphatic breast and chest care, uterine alignment, and abdominal therapy. My work is informed by both Western and Ayurvedic herbal traditions and shaped through years of study with my mentor, DeAnna Batdorff.
In session, these areas are tended with warmth, skill, and deep respect. Many women experience this work as profoundly heart-opening, not because anything is forced, but because the body is given the space to soften and be heard.
Consent and collaboration are the foundation of everything I offer. Nothing is done to you; everything is explored with you. Your voice, your boundaries, and your felt experience guide the session as it unfolds.
You are invited to arrive exactly as you are. It would be an honor to tend to you and to walk with you, even briefly, as you return home to yourself.

Honoring the Lineage
This work flows through a lineage of women who have tended the wisdom of the womb for generations.
I offer deep respect to Beatrice Torres Waight, author of Fire Heart, whose teachings arise from Yucateca Maya tradition and carry forward ancestral knowledge of uterine alignment and women’s healing.
The uterine massage teachings were passed to my mentor, DeAnna, and through her guidance entrusted to me.
If you feel called to learn more, you can support her work and her family in Belize by reading Fire Heart.

“The womb is the center of a woman’s creative and spiritual power, a place where memory, intuition, and life itself are held.”
